Travel to Belize Update

Effective 1st March 2022, individuals entering Belize who are fully vaccinated and are in possession of their vaccination certificate or have proof of a negative rapid COVID test taken within 48-hours of landing or have proof of a negative PCR COVID test taken 96-hours prior to landing are not required to be tested.

Children under 12 years of age are exempt.

Individuals without vaccination certificate or negative COVID test are required to take a test upon arrival at the Philip Goldson International Airport at a cost of US$50.

Curfews have been removed as has the outdoor mask mandate.

An indoor mask mandate is still in effect and US$18 mandatory Belize health insurance is required.

The Belize Travel Insurance offers coverage of US$50,000 in medical expenses related to COVID-19 for a period of 21 days. Travelers are encouraged to purchase insurance prior to arriving in Belize and may visit www.belizetravelinsurance.com for more information.
